Biography
January 2024 - present: working as an Associate Professor at the University of Technology in Sydney.
Previously
January 2019 - Dec 2023: working as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Technology in Sydney.
From September 2015 until Jan 2019 I worked as a Research Scientist/Senior Research Scientist in the ADAIT Team (Advanced Data Analytics in Transport) from DATA61, a research entity of CSIRO, located in Sydney, Australia. I still continue to work as an affilaite Senior Research Scientist with the ADAIT team.
From September 2012 to August 2015 I worked as a researcher/assistant professor in the ERPI laboratory/ENSGSI University, from Nancy, France.
Between September 2009 and September 2012 I was a PhD Student in the Gipsa-laboratory from Grenoble, under the supervision of
Stéphane Mocanu and Hassane ALLA.
I defended my PhD Thesis on the 18th of September 2012 , with honours "Très honorable".
In July 2009 I obtained my PhD admission after the encouraging results I have obtained during my final engineering project which was realised in the Gipsa-lab Grenoble (Erasmus student), under the supervision of
Stéphane Mocanu and Alexia Gouin.
Between 2004 and 2009 I was an undergraduate student at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science of the "Politehnica" University from Bucharest, Romania.
In 2004, I had my Scientific Baccalaureate in Mathematics and Computer Science, Romania.
